Retired and Old Superheroes

These life-like sculptures were created by the French artist Gilles Barbier. The installlation is called �L�Hospice�.

It seems that superheroes have finally grown old. Now they don�t fly around the cities taking out bad guys and saving the world. They while away at a superhero nursing home. Flabby Catwoman sleeps after the lunch, Mr. Fantastic limbs are overstretched, The Incredible Hulk rests in his wheelchair, while Wonder Woman stands by Captain America�s gourney.
